The students who appeared for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Advanced Supplementary Examinations for May 2025, have secured 76.14 % pass rate in Andhra Pradesh. The Directorate of Government Examinations released the results on Thursday (May 12).

In a statement, Director of Government Examinations K.V. Srinivasulu Reddy said students can access their results by visiting the official website www.results.bse.ap.gov.in or through Mana Mithra (WhatsApp government initiative).

Mr. Reddy said a total number of 1,23,477 candidates wrote the exam. Girls secured a pass percentage of 80.10 %, a 6.55% higher than boys who scored a pass rate of 73.55%. Prakasam district recorded the highest pass percentage in the State at 98.24 %, while West Godavari district recorded the lowest pass rate of 50.24 %.

The SSC Advanced Supplementary Exams were conducted from May 19 to May 28 and spot valuation of the answer scripts was carried out at 24 evaluation camps across the State (Except Parvathipuram Manyam and Alluri Sitharama Raju districts) from May 31 to June 2.

The candidates who wish to apply for recounting or reverification of answer scripts may do so from June 13 (10 a.m.) to June 19 (11 p.m.). The fee for recounting is ₹500 per subject and for reverification, it is ₹1,000 per subject. Applications should be submitted only through the official website and payments through CFMS Citizen Challan will not be accepted, Mr. Reddy clarified.

The original SSC pass certificates will be dispatched to schools in due course, he said, adding that the headmasters were responsible for issuing these certificates to students after affixing their signature on each certificate.
