A WBA and WBO cruiserweight world title fight between champion Zurdo Ramirez and challenger Yuniel Dorticos has already been announced as chief support.

But the bill has been boosted further by the inclusion of a tremendous fight between Floyd Schofield Jr (18-0) and Tevin Farmer (33-8-1).

Schofield Jr is one of the lightweight division’s most exciting young prospects while Farmer is a former IBF super featherweight title holder.

At 34-years-old Farmer proved he still has plenty left in the tank by causing top-rated contender William Zepeda all kinds of problems in a pair of nip-and-tuck defeats in November 2024 and March 2025.

Schofield, meanwhile, hasn’t competed since his unanimous decision victory over Rene Tellez Giron last November.

He was due to return to the ring in February against Shakur Stevenson in a WBC lightweight title fight.

However, the bout got cancelled after Schofield Jr was deemed medically unfit to compete by doctors after coming down with a viral infection.

His father Schofield Sr later told talkSPORT.com that ‘somebody tried to kill his son’, although he later retracted his statement.

Schofield Jr is keen to put the past behind him and focus on the next task at hand as he gears for his toughest test to date.

“First of all, I want to thank Golden Boy, MVP and DAZN for the opportunity to comeback on this stacked card,” said Schofield Jr.
