Engineering college organises placement day at Katpadi

Placement and Training Cell of Kingston Engineering College organised placement day on its campus near Katpadi in Vellore. As many as 360 appointment orders were given to students to work in 153 companies.

According to a press release, under the guidance of DMK MP D. M. Kathir Anand, who is also Chairman, Kingston Group of Institutions, students from various departments participated in the campus interviews conducted by different companies. Apart from 360 appointment orders, more than 100 students also received offer letters from various companies.

In her presidential address, Sangeetha Kathir Anand, Chairperson, Kingston Group of Institutions, emphasised the need for a culture among the younger generation where parents can play a key role in inculcating society values and ethos to them.

U. V. Arivazhagu, Principal of the college, S. Thingal Selvan, Director, College Placement and Training, and K. Karthik, Assistant Placement Officer of the college, were present during the event, the release said.
