Liverpool’s title parade was marred by a horrifying incident on Monday evening as a car drove into a crowd of supporters.
Police have confirmed that a 53-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving offences and driving while unfit through drugs.
A new update has also revealed that 50 people were treated in hospital, with 11 remaining there ‘in stable condition’.
The driver is believed to have followed an ambulance through road blocks before the incident occured.
