A spa owner and two of her associates have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a former employee for quitting and starting a spa on his own. The arrested have been identified as Nisha, who runs the Sara Spa in Kodigehalli, and her associates Kavya and Mohammed.
The victim Sanju, 40, who was earlier working at Sara Spa, had recently quit and started his own spa. According to a complaint by Sanju, Nisha barged into his spa with two of her associates on Thursday night, beat him up, ransacked his business, abducted him, and assaulted him with beer bottles in a car.
He further said that they threatened to burn down his spa if he did not wind it down himself, dropped him back at his spa, and fled. The assault was recorded on CCTV cameras in the area, sources said. Within hours, the Amruthahalli police tracked down and arrested the trio, sources said.
