Two hotel employees were killed when the motorcycle they were travelling on lost control and crashed into the parapet wall of the Hebbal flyover in Bengaluru, in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Arjun Bishwakarma, 36, and his friend Don Bahaddur Khaka, 24. According to the police, the duo were hotel employees and the accident happened when they were returning home from Nandi Hills.
Arjun, who was riding the motorcycle in a rash and negligent manner, lost control and collided with the wall of the flyover.
The duo fell on the road and sustained severe injuries. Passers-by, along with the Hebbal traffic police rushed them to a near-by hospital where both of them succumbed.
The Hebbal traffic police have registered a case of death due to negligence, and rash and negligent riding against Arjun for further investigation.
