You might want to sit down for this one.

Breast milk ice cream is now a thing, and yes, it’s actually available for purchase across the U.S. Frida, the brand known for its no-filter approach to parenting products, has teamed up with small-batch New York creamery OddFellows to drop what might be the most jaw-dropping flavor of 2025: breast milk-flavored ice cream.

Launched earlier this year in limited quantities, the flavor was an instant viral sensation. Now it’s back, bigger and weirder than ever, and available for nationwide shipping via Frida’s website. The announcement blew up online after Frida posted a tank truck with “Breast Milk Ice Cream” plastered across the side, captioned with a bold dare: “Taste it for yourself.”

So what’s the deal? No, it’s not made with actual human breast milk. Let’s just get that out of the way. The flavor was inspired by it, not sourced from it. According to Frida, the pint is designed to mimic that baby-first taste: sweet, a little salty, smooth, with notes of honey and a hit of bovine colostrum to finish it off. The result? A pale yellow ice cream with an oddly nostalgic twist that no one saw coming.

The full ingredient list includes milk, heavy cream, skim milk powder, sugar, dextrose, egg yolks, honey syrup, salted caramel flavoring, liposomal bovine colostrum, and a few other stabilizers and colorings. It’s not breast milk, but it definitely wants to taste like it. And apparently, people are super curious.

If you’re brave enough, a pint of this viral flavor will cost you $12.99, with a minimum of two pints per online order. Frida isn’t just sticking to digital sales though. The ice cream will also be served at OddFellows’ Dumbo location in Brooklyn, New York, from August 5 through August 10. Best part? Free scoops are being handed out from noon to 1 p.m. on August 6 and August 10. Expect lines, cameras, and some very mixed reactions.

Why breast milk, though? Frida says it was inspired by the internet’s low-key obsession with the idea. Celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian, Ashley Graham, and Coco Austin have all gone viral in recent years for trying their own breast milk, and the curiosity has clearly spread. “Trying your own breast milk isn’t new,” Frida said in a statement. “We just put it in a pint.”

And just like that, a parenting brand and a hipster ice cream shop made the weirdest dessert of the year go mainstream. Whether it’s a gross-out gimmick or lowkey genius, one thing is clear: breast milk ice cream is having a moment, and people can’t stop talking about it.
