Cockscomb flower, also known by its botanical
name Celosia cristata.
It is an ornamental plant known for its unique,
textured blooms that resemble the crest of a
rooster, hence the name “Cockscomb”.
These flowers are dense, velvety, and come in
various bright colors, including red, pink,
orange, yellow, and purple.
Cockscomb is an annual herb, commonly grown as a
garden plant, and is relatively low maintenance.
It thrives in full sunlight and well-drained soil,
ideally receiving early morning sun and afternoon
shade in hot climates.
