After nearly six years together, The Hunger Games actor, 35, and the Australian model, 29, confirmed their engagement on Sept. 12 through Gabriella’s Instagram post. In the photo, she rested her hand, complete with a dazzling diamond ring, on Liam’s chest as they posed together. A second picture gave fans a close-up of the sparkler, which she captioned simply with a white heart emoji.
Engagement rumors had been swirling for months. Gabriella first sparked speculation when she wore the diamond ring while celebrating Liam’s brother Chris Hemsworth’s 42nd birthday earlier this year. Dressed in a yellow mini-dress and black sunglasses, she showed off the ring as Liam stood casually by her side in a white tank top and blue shorts.
The couple’s romance began in 2019, just months after Liam finalized his divorce from Miley Cyrus.
