Taylor Swift is returning to the big screen with a brand-new theatrical event, “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.”
The special film experience arrives in theaters on October 3, the same day her highly anticipated new album, The Life of a Showgirl, drops worldwide.
The release is set to be a nostalgic nod to the listening parties Swift once hosted early in her career, but this time on a much larger stage. Fans will be able to join the superstar in celebrating her twelfth studio album at AMC Theaters, Cinemark, and Regal locations across the U.S. from October 3 to October 5. Tickets will be available through Fandango.
According to Variety, the movie event will run just under an hour and a half and feature an exciting lineup of exclusive content. Fans will get the world premiere of the first music video from the album, “The Fate of Ophelia.” The film will also include lyric videos for other songs on Showgirl, behind-the-scenes footage from the “Ophelia” music video shoot, and never-before-seen personal reflections from Swift herself.
