Country stars Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock’s ongoing feud boiled over into a public confrontation at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, on Saturday, September 13.
The heated altercation, captured in multiple videos shared online, unfolded just moments before Adcock was scheduled to perform.
In a clip posted to Instagram by Adcock, Bryan, 29, and Adcock, 26, can be seen on opposite sides of a wire fence at the festival grounds. The footage shows Bryan calling out, “Hey, do you want to fight like a man? Come open the gate,” before shoving the fence toward Adcock. Adcock, who posted the video with the text overlay, “When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown,” also added a jab in the caption: “Eat a Snickers, bro.”
Another video, shared on Facebook, shows Bryan attempting to climb over the barbed wire fence to reach Adcock before security intervenes. As Bryan is held back, Adcock is escorted away by a bodyguard. Online viewers quickly weighed in, with one commenter accusing Adcock of hiding behind security. Adcock replied, “Had a show to play for Oklahoma. Wasn’t going to jail over that Psycho.”
If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14 year old why do people idolize you?
That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/ parents spent a ton of money to see you. He’s got feeling too and a you’re a “grown man” nearly 30
They’re the only reason you are around.

The confrontation is the latest flashpoint in the pair’s feud, which has played out publicly over the past few months. Tensions first escalated in July when Adcock criticized Bryan on X, formerly Twitter, for how he treated a teenage fan. “If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old why do people idolize you? That kid was head over heels to meet you … They’re the only reason you are around,” Adcock wrote. Bryan fired back in a now-deleted post, defending himself by saying, “You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello,” before signing off with “GOMD” – shorthand for “Get off my d—.”
In August, Adcock expanded on his criticism during Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast. “It wasn’t about not wanting to sign autographs after a show, it’s like letting a 14-year-old kid rant, without saying, ‘Get off my d—.’ You’re bigger than that,” he explained. He further accused Bryan of presenting a false image, saying, “Sometimes he can’t help but rip it off and show his true colors. I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person.”
The explosive clash at Born & Raised marks the most public escalation yet between the two artists, and with both continuing to speak out, their feud shows no signs of cooling down.
