A total of 51,753 candidates have uploaded their certificates on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) portal as of Thursday, nine days after the TNEA committee 2025 opened the admission process for single window counselling.
As of 6 p.m. on Thursday, 1,55,898 candidates registered on the website and 89,694 paid the registration fee. The application process is considered complete only if the candidates upload the required documents on the online portal. According to the Directorate of Technical Education, this year, more than 2 lakh seats would be available for engineering aspirants in 400-odd colleges affiliated to Anna University.
Arts and Science
As of 6 p.m., 1,21,119 candidates registered for courses in arts and science colleges. Of them, 88,045 paid the registration fee, officials said.
