Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep sorrow over the death of seven children in separate incidents in Vizianagaram and Chittoor districts.
The Chief Minister said he was deeply shaken by the tragic loss of seven young children in two separate accidents that occurred on the same day in different regions.
He expressed profound grief over the incident in Devarajapuram village of Kuppam mandal in Chittoor district, where three children from the same family accidentally fell into a water pit while playing and drowned. The CM mourned the deaths of — Gautami, Shalini, and Ashwin — in the incident. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to their grieving parents.
Mr. Naidu also expressed anguish over the death of four children at Dwarapudi village, Vizianagaram district, in a tragic incident when the doors of a car got locked accidentally. The CM said he was deeply disturbed to learn that the children, who went out to play, entered a parked car, and the doors got locked, trapping them inside and leading to their death due to suffocation. He mourned the loss of Uday, Jashritha, Charulatha, and Maneeshwari in the incident.
The Chief Minister stated that the death of these innocent children, all under the age of 10, in both incidents, has left him heartbroken. He assured that the government would extend support to the bereaved families.
