Fans spotted a bizarre mishap from UEFA following Tottenham’s Europa League final victory.
Ange Postecoglou’s side ended their 17-year trophy drought with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United in Bilbao.

A first half strike from Brennan Johnson proved to be the difference between the two sides at the San Mames.
Following the final whistle, the Spurs players were presented with their medals on the pitch by UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin.
However, eagle-eyed supporters noticed that the officials ran out of medals before the entire squad had received them.
Ceferin was left without a medal for the final few players ahead of the trophy lift.
As a result, Cristian Romero and captain Heung-Min Son could be seen without their ribbons around their necks as the Spurs skipper lifted the Europa League trophy.
The issue had even caused a hold up during the ceremony as Ceferin turned to a UEFA official in search of an explanation.
Meanwhile, fans on social media slammed European football’s governing body for the gaffe.
Reacting to the incident, one supporter wrote on X: “Son and Romero not getting a medal because UEFA ran out.”
Another added: “Not having a medal for Son is very, very UEFA. Useless.”
A third fan also commented: “No medal for the winning captain, absolutely embarrassing from UEFA.”

Meanwhile, one more said: “How have they ran out of medals? UEFA shambles.”
Another added: “Absolutely amateurish from UEFA running out of winner medals.”
According to UEFA’s rules for the Europa League, both the winning team and runner-up are presented with 50 medals each.
These can be awarded to both players and staff by the clubs, with no minimum appearance requirements as in other competitions.
However, it appears the full amount was not provided to Ceferin for the trophy presentation in Bilbao.
As well as Spurs’ 23-man matchday squad, several members of the side who were unavailable for the final were involved in the ceremony.
They included injured winger Dejan Kulusevski, who was ruled out after undergoing knee surgery earlier this month.
It is unclear whether the likes of Son and Romero will receive their medals before a planned trophy parade later this week.
Spurs are set to embark on an open-top bus parade through North London on Friday.
The celebrations will give fans the chance to see the trophy and their heroes upon their return from Spain.
Postecoglou’s side then end their Premier League campaign at home to Brighton on Sunday.
