Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday expressed grief and shock over the aircraft accident in Ahmedabad.
Terming the mishap news as heart-wrenching, he said it was sad that all but one of the passengers onboard the plane, as well as several students of the medical college hostel where the plane crash landed, have lost their lives. This is really terrifying. The fact that former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is also among those who lost their lives, is also distressing. It is painful to hear that Ranjitha Gopakumar, a native of Pullad, Thiruvalla is also among the dead. “We share the grief of those who lost their loved ones in the crash of Air India aircraft at Ahmedabad,” he said.
