Arsenal missed out on the Premier League title again this season, but they will want to finally go one better next campaign.
Mikel Arteta will be keen to see some strong preparation from the club on and off the pitch this summer as they push for silverware.

The Gunners have only won one major trophy in six years under Arteta, with that coming in the FA Cup in 2020.
His side have missed out on top-flight glory by finishing second in all of the last three seasons, and his side just can’t seem to compete long enough to go one better.
So, for the club, this summer is majorly important when it comes to recruitment and also how they progress their game to stay at the top and topple champions Liverpool.
Here’s what their current pre-season plan is looking like…
Arsenal pre-season schedule
Arsenal’s 2025/26 pre-season is set to begin on July 23.
However, things could change as only three games have been announced so far.
As things stand, the Gunners are scheduled to get their new campaign preparations started against AC Milan as part of a tour of Asia.
Arteta’s men will play two games in Singapore, with them facing the Italian giants first.
They will then take on fellow Premier League side Newcastle four days later on July 27.
Both games will be held at the Singapore National Stadium.

Arsenal’s 2025/26 pre-season schedule
- July 23: Arsenal vs AC Milan (Singapore)
- July 27: Arsenal vs Newcastle (Singapore)
- July 31: Arsenal vs Tottenham (Hong Kong)
Speaking about the trip, Arsenal’s Managing Director Richard Garlick said: “It’s great that we’re coming back to Singapore in July to play against two quality opponents and meet so many of our brilliant supporters.
“Our men’s first team squad enjoyed trips to Singapore in both 2015 and 2018, when we made some great memories playing in the impressive National Stadium, where we’ll return to play again this year.
“Our trip will give us the opportunity to connect with our supporters in this beautiful region, with the matches against AC Milan and Newcastle United promising to produce two exciting games, providing the squad with high-quality preparation ahead of the new season.”
Arsenal will then move countries on their Asian tour, playing their next match in Hong Kong on July 31.
It will be a big one too, as the Gunners face bitter rivals Spurs at the Kai Tak Stadium – a new venue that can hold up to 50,000 fans.
The game will be history-making as it’s the first North London derby to be held outside of the UK.
It will also be the first time Arsenal have played in Hong Kong since 2012.
Managing director Garlick said on the derby: “Everyone at Arsenal is excited to be visiting Hong Kong in July.
“It’s great to be back with our men’s first team squad after 13 years, and gives us the opportunity to meet so many of our fantastic supporters in the region again.
“Playing against Tottenham Hotspur in the magnificent new Kai Tak Stadium will be a great experience for both teams and supporters, and will be a very important part of our pre-season preparations ahead of the new season.”
More pre-season fixtures are expected to be announced by the club.
The new Premier League season will then get started on August 16.
