The sex-trafficking trial of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has revealed shocking new details as his former personal assistant, known only as “Mia,” took the stand and described harrowing abuse she allegedly suffered while working for him.

Over an eight-year period from 2009 to 2017, Mia testified that Diddy sexually assaulted her multiple times, threw a bucket of ice on her head, slammed her arm into a door, and even threw her into a swimming pool. But perhaps the most chilling part of her testimony was what she witnessed happening to Diddy’s then-girlfriend, R&B singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

At the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, during the premiere of Brad Pitt’s Killing Them Softly, Mia testified that she saw Diddy dig his nails into Cassie’s arms while they were seated in a silent movie theater. She described how Diddy suddenly gritted his teeth and aggressively clawed at Cassie’s skin. Despite the shocking nature of the incident, no one else left the event, as it was considered taboo to exit during a premiere. But Diddy insisted Cassie leave early, and she did, visibly shaken. Later, Mia recalled seeing Cassie’s busted lip and other injuries when she was in a hotel room with Cassie’s hair stylist, Deonte Nash.

Mia’s testimony gave the jury a glimpse into the chaotic and toxic environment that surrounded Diddy’s inner circle. She described the mogul as brutal and controlling, prioritizing his own desires and needs over the well-being of those who worked for him, his loved ones, and Cassie. Mia said she was constantly berated for mistakes, including those made by others, and was burdened with so many tasks that she sometimes went without sleep for days. “It was chaotic. It was toxic,” Mia explained, recounting the rollercoaster of highs and lows she experienced while working for Diddy, including co-founding Revolt Films with him.

Cassie Ventura herself gave extensive testimony, describing the dark and abusive side of her 11-year relationship with Diddy. She said she first met him in 2005 when she was only 19 years old and saw him as a “larger-than-life entrepreneur musician.” Their relationship became physical two years later during a Miami trip shortly after her 21st birthday. Cassie described crying after their first kiss, a moment that clearly left a deep impression on her. She also revealed that Diddy gave her ecstasy during that trip, showing the early use of drugs in their relationship.

One of the most disturbing parts of Cassie’s testimony was her description of the “freak”-offs”, intense, drug-fueled sex marathons where she was forced to engage in sex acts with escorts while Diddy watched, filmed, and directed the encounters. These sessions reportedly lasted anywhere from 36 hours to four days, and Cassie was just 22 years old when she experienced her first freak-off. She testified that these events eventually became a weekly chore, with Diddy orchestrating the entire experience like a twisted production. Cassie said she “hated” these freak-offs, calling them humiliating and disgusting. She even described times when there was blood on the sheets because Diddy forced her to have sex while she was menstruating or ovulating.

Beyond the physical abuse, Cassie described Diddy’s iron grip on every aspect of her life. She said he controlled her wardrobe, nails, hair, and even where she lived. He also assigned her “busy work” to keep her occupied when he wasn’t around and monitored her closely. Cassie testified that Diddy even organized discussions about her breast implants, illustrating the extreme level of control he exerted over her body and decisions.

The violent abuse came to a head on May 6, 2016, at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, where Cassie said Diddy attacked her physically. She testified that after a particularly brutal freak-off session, she ran out of the room but was chased down, hit, kicked, and dragged back while curled on the floor. Cassie described being in shock and suffering from a black eye and other injuries. She recounted the fear and pain she endured during and after the attack.

Following the Cannes premiere incident, Brad Pitt hosted a private party at Villa St. George for close friends and people involved in Killing Them Softly. Around 100 guests attended, including Diddy, Kylie Minogue, Chris Tucker, and Ray Liotta. The atmosphere was lively, almost like a pre-bachelor party for Pitt, who was engaged to Angelina Jolie at the time. The party featured cigars and an impressive 250 bottles of Johnnie Walker whiskey. Toward the night’s end, Diddy shared a celebratory drink with Pitt over his engagement before inviting the guests to continue the celebration on his yacht.

Diddy, now 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. While his legal team has admitted he can be violent, they strongly deny he used his power or threats to commit or cover up abuse.

This trial has exposed a grim reality behind the glamorous facade of fame, with detailed accounts of control, manipulation, and violence. It’s a stark reminder that even the biggest stars can hide dark secrets behind closed doors.
