Monday’s slate of games features an AL Central divisional matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox.

Flaherty is in a great position to thrive on Monday night as he excels at generating Strikeouts at a high rate while avoiding contact.

Especially when he is supported by one of the best back ends in the league as it helps reduce the amount of contact variance in his starts.

Even though there are only seven games taking place on Monday’s slate, there are still plenty of prop bets to groom through which you can read a detailed breakdown of them below.

Detroit Tigers vs Chicago White Sox (7:40pm, EST)

Jack Flaherty over 5.5 strikeouts: (-160) at BetMGM Sportsbook

After going through a cold stretch of play, the Detroit Tigers Jack Flaherty has seemingly rounded back into form as he managed to hold the San Francisco Giants to just two Hits Allowed and zero Earned Runs while generating eight total Strikeouts. For the season, Flaherty is averaging an ERA of 3.94, a WHIP of 1.112, and over one Strikeout per Inning Pitched.

Heading into Monday’s contest against the Chicago White Sox, Flaherty will have the opportunity to continue to create Whiffs at a high rate as he faces off against a lineup who ranks 29th overall in Contact Rate and 11th in Strikeout Rate.

For some more exposure, escalator bet Flaherty’s Strikeouts prop by placing smaller wagers on his alternate totals.

Jack Flaherty over 17.5 outs: (-145) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Not only do the White Sox offense struggle with making contact, but their lineup also ranks near dead last in Total Runs Scored, RBIs, and in On Base Percentage.

That puts Flaherty in a great position to go the full length of his start, especially when he is surrounded by a back end who excels in coverage as the Tigers defense ranks top-7 in Defensive Efficiency and in Fielding Percentage.

Minnesota Twins vs Athletics (10:05pm, EST)

Luis Severino under 5.5 hits allowed: (-105) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Since arriving to the Athletics, Luis Severino has managed to put together a productive start to his 2025 campaign as the A’s pitcher is currently averaging an ERA of 3.89, a FIP of 3.39, and less than one Hit Against per Inning Pitched. An impressive feat, especially when factoring the little support he gets from his back end as the Athletics defense have struggled with playing at a competitive level.

Fortunately for Severino, he possesses more than enough arm talent to neutralize Minnesota’s offense as he faces off against a lineup who ranks in the bottom half of the board in Contact Rate.

With the Twins struggling to generate Hits, expect Severino to continue to create Whiffs at a consistent rate and cash the under on his Hits Allowed prop.

Christian Vazquez under 0.5 hit: (+125) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Correlating this prop with the previously mentioned one, Christian Vazquez’s struggles at the plate are poised to persist as he faces off against Severino who excels at avoiding contact.

Severino’s high level of individual production spells potential disaster for Vazquez as the Twins batter currently averages less than one Hit per game and a Batting Average of 0.209. Increase your exposure by also placing a wager on Vazquez to go under 0.5 on his Total Bases prop.

Milwaukee Brewers vs Cincinnati Reds (7:10pm, EST)

Aaron Civale under 15.5 outs: (-145) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Aaron Civale has struggled to find his footing this season as the Milwaukee Brewers pitcher is currently averaging an ERA of 6.00, a WHIP of 1.250, and a FIP of 7.17.

To make matters worse for Civale, his back end has struggled to mask his underwhelming play on the mound with their own coverage as the Brewers defense ranks 25th overall in Fielding Percentage.

Against the Cincinnati Reds, expect Civale to be pulled before the sixth inning as he faces off against an offense who ranks above league average in Contact Rate, On Base Percentage, and in Total Runs Scored. Should Civale’s total on his Outs prop drop down to 14.5, then pass on this wager.
