The Cleveland Guardians face off against the New York Yankees in a rematch from last year’s American League Championship Series.

Tuesday’s slate of games features an exciting rematch from last year’s ALCS as the New York Yankees are set to battle it out against the Cleveland Guardians.

With the Guardians offense struggling to play at a competitive level, Carlos Rodon is in a great position to string together a dominant performance as he excels at avoiding contact.

With 15 games taking place on Tuesday, there are plenty of prop bets to groom through which you can read a detailed breakdown of them below.

Cleveland Guardians vs New York Yankees (7:05pm, EST)

Carlos Rodon over 7.5 strikeouts: (+115) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Carlos Rodon has played a key role in the New York Yankees hot start to the season as he heads into Tuesday’s contest against the Cleveland Guardians averaging an ERA of 2.60, a WHIP of 0.936, and a FIP of 3.11. His success stems from his ability to create Whiffs at a high rate as Rodon also averages over one Strikeout per Inning Pitched.

In a ALCS rematch against Cleveland, Rodon will have a great opportunity to sustain his high level of play as he faces off against a Guardians offense who ranks near the bottom of the board in Contact Rate.

Place a full size wager on Rodon to go over the total of 7.5 on his Strikeouts prop and smaller wagers on his alternate totals.

Carlos Rodon under 4.5 hits allowed: (-125) at BetMGM Sportsbook

Correlating this prop with the previously mentioned one, Rodon’s ability to generate Whiffs at a high rate means the Guardians will continue to struggle with making contact.

Especially when he receives a high level of support from his back end as the Yankees defense currently ranks fourth overall in Defensive Efficiency and 11th in Fielding Percentage.

With his defense limiting the amount of contact variance in his starts, expect Rodon to go under the total on his Hits Allowed prop.

New York Mets vs Los Angeles Dodgers (10:10pm, EST)

Clayton Kershaw under 4.5 strikeouts: (-140) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Clayton Kershaw has struggled to find his footing this season as the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher is averaging nearly two runners on base per inning and a ERA of 4.91.

This has resulted in short appearances in his outings as opposing offenses have had no issue with making contact and getting into scoring position at a consistent rate due to his lack of command.

In a matchup against the New York Mets, expect Kershaw to continue to underwhelm in his efforts of avoiding contact as he faces off against a star studded lineup who ranks near dead last in Strikeout Rate and sixth overall in Bases on Walks.

The Mets ability to apply pressure early on in their contest may lead to another early exit for Kershaw which drastically increases the chances of him staying under this total.

Francisco Lindor over 1.5 total bases: (+100) at FanDuel Sportsbook

With Kershaw struggling with his command, Francisco Lindor will have a great opportunity to consistently get on base as the Mets star batter has been a consistent source of production for their offense this season.

As of writing, Lindor is averaging over one Hit per game, a 0.283 Batting Average, and an OPS higher than 0.800.

Texas Rangers vs Tampa Bay Rays (7:35pm, EST)

Drew Rasmussen under 1.5 earned runs: (+135) at FanDuel Sportsbook

It has been a rough start to the year for the Texas Rangers offense as they currently rank below league average in Team Total Hits, RBIs, Total Runs Scored, and in On Base Percentage. Their lack of offensive production brings in a higher amount of variance in their contests which hurts their chances of winning.

Unfortunately for the Rangers, their struggles on offense are poised to persist as they face off against Drew Rasmussen who avoids contact at a consistent rate.

In his 11 starts, the Rays pitcher is averaging an ERA of 2.33 and less than one Hit Against per Inning Pitched. Rasmussen is also supported by a back end who thrives in coverage as the Rays rank second overall in Defensive Efficiency.
