The 2025 Premier League Darts group stage reaches its conclusion this Thursday with Week 16 in Sheffield.

With Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, and Gerwyn Price already securing their places in the Play-Offs, the spotlight turns to the race for the fourth and final spot at London’s O2 Arena.

Nathan Aspinall holds the advantage following his victory in Aberdeen last week, but seven-time Premier League champion Michael van Gerwen still has a chance of clinching the final spot ahead of ‘The Asp’.

Premier League Darts predictions for Week 16

Nathan Aspinall secured a vital victory in Aberdeen, strengthening his bid for a Play-Off spot. He defeated Michael van Gerwen 6-3 in the quarter-finals and went on to win the night’s final, earning five crucial points.

Aspinall’s win means that MVG must now beat ‘The Asp’ in their quarter-final clash in Sheffield and go on to claim his first nightly win of the season to keep his Premier League season alive.

Luke Littler cemented his position at the top of the league table with a quarter-final victory over Luke Humphries. The match was sensational, with Littler averaging 115.96, and Humphries, 110.01.

However, the teenager’s run was cut short in the semi-finals by a narrow 6-5 defeat to Chris Dobey.

Gerwyn Price delivered a spectacular nine-dart finish in his quarter-final against Stephen Bunting – his second perfect leg of the Premier League season.

Despite the moment of brilliance, Price fell to a 6-4 defeat, finishing with a below-par average of 91.56. Bunting went on to suffer a heavy 6-1 loss to Aspinall in the semi-finals.

In the evening’s other quarter-final, Chris Dobey defeated Rob Cross 6-2, a result that saw ‘Hollywood’ leapfrog Cross in the standings. ‘Voltage’ now sits seventh, just two points ahead of bottom-placed Stephen Bunting.

Premier League darts betting tips for Week 16

Luke Littler was the 6/4 favourite to win the night last week, the teenager is 5/4 to win Night 16. World No.1 Luke Humphries is second in the betting at 7/2, with Gerwyn Price at 7/1 to win his fourth night of the 2025 edition. MVG is 17/2 to win his first night of the year and qualify for next week’s playoffs. You can check out how we expect each of them to do in our betting tips below:

Luke Littler to hit more 180s than Stephen Bunting

Luke Littler produced a stunning display in his 6–3 quarter-final win over Luke Humphries in Aberdeen last Thursday. Given that level of performance, it was a surprise to see the teenager fall to Chris Dobey in the semi-finals.

Stephen Bunting has lost three of his four Premier League meetings with Littler this season, although ‘The Bullet’ has produced some of his best darts in his clashes with the youngster.

At odds of 1/4, there’s little value in backing Littler in the match winner market. However, with a record sixth nightly win within reach, he looks well-positioned to go all the way – and we recommend a play on Littler to win the night outright.

For a match-specific bet, we’re backing Littler to hit the most 180s. Bunting managed just three maximums across his two matches last week.

Over 9.5 legs – MVG vs Nathan Aspinall vs Michael van Gerwen

It’s simple, Michael van Gerwen must win the night to secure the final spot at the O2 next Thursday. It almost feels unthinkable that the seven-time Premier League champion could miss the Play-Offs – but as it stands, that’s looking more likely than not.

Along with Rob Cross, MVG is one of only two players yet to win a night this season. And even if he gets past Nathan Aspinall in the quarter-finals, it’s difficult to see the ‘Green Machine’ overcoming one – let alone both – of the Lukes, should they progress.

With this match finely balanced, the best value may lie in backing over 9.5 legs.

Luke Humphries (-1.5 legs) to beat Rob Cross

Rob Cross has now lost at the quarter-final stage in six of the last seven Premier League nights. ‘Voltage’ appears to be in the poorest form of the eight competitors, and the former world champion will likely be glad to see the end of the regular season on Thursday.

Luke Humphries suffered a 6-3 defeat to Luke Littler in last week’s quarter-finals, but the scoreline doesn’t tell the full story. The world No.1 averaged an impressive 110.01 and did very little wrong – he simply ran into an inspired Littler performance.

With the Play-Offs at the O2 fast approaching, Humphries will be keen to build some momentum. Given current form, it’s hard to see him losing to Rob Cross. Backing Humphries to cover the handicap offers better value.

🎯 Back Luke Humphries (-1.5) to beat Rob Cross on the handicap at 4/5 🎯

Gerwyn Price to beat Chris Dobey

Gerwyn Price has struggled with consistency throughout this Premier League Darts season – often within the same match. That was never more evident than last week, when ‘The Iceman’ threw a nine-darter yet still lost the match, finishing with an average of just 91.56.

Despite the ups and downs, Price has still claimed three nightly wins – matching the total of Luke Humphries. However, his inconsistency is underlined by eight quarter-final exits over the course of the campaign.

Chris Dobey has fared even worse in that regard, suffering ten quarter-final defeats this season – only Bunting has a worse record with 11.

Dobey did reach the final last week in Aberdeen, only to suffer a heavy 6-1 loss to Nathan Aspinall. Interestingly, the last time ‘Hollywood’ reached a final, he was beaten by Gerwyn Price the following week.

A similar outcome wouldn’t be surprising, especially if Price refocuses ahead of the Play-Offs at the O2.
