Cam’ron has taken his feud with Omar Gooding to a whole new level – and this time, it involves an elaborate prank and a fake movie set.

The Harlem rapper revealed on Instagram that he hired Gooding for a bogus film project in Miami, only to later confess that no such movie would ever exist.

“I booked the n, a to do a movie that’s never coming out like three weeks ago,” Cam’ron said to his followers. “Yeah, Omar. That movie that you flew down to Miami for? It ain’t no movie coming out. I booked you. And I was laughing at you behind the scenes. I was there. I was sitting there laughing at you.”

Cam’ron claimed that because Gooding had signed the paperwork, he could use the footage however he pleased – even announcing that Gooding would appear on Revolt that night. He took the trolling further by joking that he’d start hiring his rivals for personal events. “Now do another record; I’ma book you for my goddaughter’s baby shower,” Cam added. “Her sh– is in October and we’ll book you to do all the diss records. I’ll pay you for that too because what I’ma start doing is paying n, as just to laugh at them.”

According to Cam, the whole stunt cost him around $3,500, covering Gooding’s hotel, flights, and other expenses. He compared it to dropping $12,000 to $13,000 for NBA game tickets, saying he’d rather get his laughs for less money. He’s even given the concept a name: “Book My Opps.”

Gooding didn’t let the prank slide quietly. He responded with his own Instagram video, saying he had a new diss record in the works that would be “diabolical,” but also sarcastically thanking Cam for the free Miami vacation. “Keep booking, I’ma keep spendin’ it,” Gooding joked, hinting that he wouldn’t mind another round.

This latest chapter in their back-and-forth traces back to December 2024 during an episode of Talk With Flee. Cam’ron, while talking with 50 Cent about Black actors not getting consistent roles unless someone like 50 hires them, accidentally referred to Omar Gooding as “Omar Gooding Jr.,” confusing him with his older brother, Cuba Gooding Jr. He lumped Gooding in with actors like Ving Rhames, suggesting they should create their own projects instead of waiting for big opportunities.

That misstep sparked a string of diss tracks from Gooding – three so far – each taking shots at Cam. The fake movie prank seems to be Cam’s latest retaliation in their growing war of words and rhymes.

For now, the prank has reignited the rivalry, with both sides trading blows online. If Cam sticks to his new “Book My Opps” strategy, it’s likely this won’t be the last bizarre stunt in their ongoing saga.
