Fan troubles
talkSPORT understands that 28 people have been arrested today amid clashes between fans in Poland.
It’s not clear how many of them are Chelsea supporters.
Footage has shown water cannons being used on fans, flattening a number of them who quickly disperse.
Reporters on the ground claim tear gas was also used.
The scenes come after police intervention on Tuesday when tear gas was used in an attempt to stop fighting between rival fans.
Videos of the violence circulated on social media, with individuals throwing bottles and chairs at each other.
The incident took place outside the Kombinat pub and Guinness pub in Solny Square.
Polish police in riot gear were captured dispersing the chaos with helmets and riot shields before spraying tear gas in the direction of Chelsea fans.
Conference League final
Hello and welcome to talkSPORT’s live coverage of the Conference League final between Chelsea and Real Betis!
The Blues thrashed Djurgarden 5-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals earlier this month to book their place in Poland.
Enzo Maresca’s side are looking to become the first team in UEFA history to win the organisation’s three major European trophies.
They have already claimed the Champions League and Europa League, with the Conference League now in their sights.
Chelsea are going to take on Real Betis, who saw off Italian side Fiorentina in their semi-final to continue their impressive season.
Ex-Man City and West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is in charge and will hope to lead his side to glory in the big one.
