Chloë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison have wed.
The 28-year-old actress and the 34-year-old model exchanged vows over Labor Day weekend, with the celebration confirmed by Vogue. The couple, who have been together since 2018, kept much of their relationship private, but their wedding was nothing short of meaningful and stylish.
Talking to Vogue on the eve of the grand day, Moretz revealed how the couple expressed their interests and personalities in planning the weekend. “A huge part of the wedding [is about] sharing things that Kate and I love with everyone that’s coming,” she explained. The guests had a blend of activities such as fishing, horse riding, poker, and even line dancing. Harrison had even created a personalized poker mat for the event.
Both brides donned one-of-a-kind Louis Vuitton creations for their wedding and after-party outfits. Keeping with tradition, they didn’t see each other’s outfits ahead of time, even though they flew to Paris simultaneously for fittings.
Moretz shocked in a light blue wedding veil and wedding dress and topped it off with matching long gloves as her “something blue.” She then changed into an “ice cream” white tailored jacket and trousers with a cowboy hat for the after-party. “I never imagined a traditional wedding dress,” she confessed. “I knew I wanted to do something different, and this seemed so me.
Harrison chose a classic white gown for the ceremony, complete with a sweetheart neckline, birdcage veil, and cathedral-length veil. For the after-party, she opted for a modern twist with a bodice and trousers under a sheer overlay with metallic straps and button detailing. “The thing I’m the most excited for – other than being married – is that first look moment,” Harrison said before the ceremony. “It’s going to be so special.”
Moretz looked back on the institution of marriage after almost seven years with Harrison: “It’s about making this promise in a new way and choosing each other every day.”
The pair initially fueled romance rumors in 2018 when they were seen kissing outside Nobu in Malibu. In 2024, engagement rumors swirled after both were seen sporting rings on a Disneyland outing in April. Moretz then showed off her diamond ring at Paris Fashion Week, continuing to fuel rumors.
Though they like to keep their love life in the shadows, the newlyweds’ wedding confirmed suspicions long held by fans – their relationship had attained a lovely milestone.
