Conor McGregor hilariously shoulder charged a rival during a football match in Ireland amid his ongoing combat hiatus.
McGregor hasn’t fought in the UFC since losing to Dustin Poirier in 2021, and looks no closer to securing a return.

The Irishman has still been keeping himself in shape this year and has teased a comeback, including a huge showdown with Paddy Pimblett.
But for now he appears occupied with other opportunities which have include surprise appearances on the football pitch.
And today McGregor has shared photos of his latest foray lacing up his boots, which he hasn’t taken lightly.
Incredibly, he posted photos which showed a live action shoulder charge on one of his rival’s as they competed for the ball.
As the pictures are scrolled through, the shoulder charge leaves the competitor in a heap on the floor.
It is clearly a big fall and McGregor emerges with the ball and charges down the line towards the corner flag.
The move was clearly deemed not a foul, and showed McGregor’s fighting strength which he notoriously carried during his MMA career.
McGregor boasted that he had use the shoulder so much to become UFC champion, and was now continuing to use it to his advantage.
He wrote: “Get up out of that I’ve broke noses and eye sockets with this shoulder.”
Overall, it is clear he is enjoying his time on the football pitch and it isn’t the first time fans have had a glimpse into his new career.

In a previous match, McGregor used MMA moves on opponents earlier this year for his pub’s team in a United Churches Football League (UCFL) game.
It once again appeared to be the colour of his Black Forge Inn FC, his pub in Dublin, who are competing in a local league.
This time around he wore the number 10, and his beloved team clearly will see him feature more often.
For now it appears he will only enter the football pitch, with fighting appearances seemingly behind him for now.
McGregor was finally set to return last July in the UFC against Michael Chandler, but injured his toe and was forced to withdraw.
He also held talks over a boxing showdown with influencer KSI, with a deal reportedly reached.

But KSI’s camp suggested McGregor pulled the plug from his end over the financial aspects of the agreement.
UFC kingpin Dana White suggested McGregor won’t be back in the cage any time soon, with no fresh conversations held.
Despite his form in the cage having seen him won just once since 2018, he remains a huge commercial draw.
And a comeback would no doubt be hugely popular, and remains a possibility with two fights remaining on his deal.
