Bali is going to turn into the capital of world dance music this December as Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) 2025 returns to the breathtaking GWK Cultural Park.
Lying under the monumental Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue and overlooking vast limestone cliffs, the venue is home to one of the world’s most iconic festival backdrops. Recognized for merging stunning landscapes with top-of-the-range production, DWP has established itself not only as a music festival but as a cultural odyssey.
Phase one lineup revealed
The initial wave of the 2025 roster solidifies this year’s edition as one for the books. Calvin Harris is returning to the DWP stage after six long years with his arsenal of chart-conquering hits and worldwide dance anthems. He is joined by Charlotte de Witte, techno’s reigning monarch, who makes her DWP debut after her first album’s release.
Fan favorite FISHER also returns, delivering his sole Southeast Asia show of 2025 with a high-octane tech-house set. French hitmaker HUGEL will add Latin house spice to the mix after the huge international success of “Morenita” and “Adore You.”
Skrillex, electronic music’s most genre-bending icon, returns with a set that merges legacy sounds with underground experimentation. Rounding out phase one headliners is Swedish House Mafia co-founder Steve Angello, who takes the stage alone to deliver his progressive house prowess.
Special sets and regional talent
Aside from the headliners, DWP 2025 offers a thrilling blend of international and local acts. Among the strong points is a triple back-to-back set combining progressive house giants DubVision, Matisse & Sadko, and Third Party – a first-ever in Indonesia.
Trance enthusiasts can expect sets from Nifra, who combines trance with techno and rave energy, and the legendary Paul van Dyk, one of electronic music’s most revered names. Japan’s underground sensation ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U will bring his bold, genre-breaking style from Berghain and Hör Berlin to Bali, and melodic new kid on the block Cyril fresh from his collaboration with James Blunt.
Homegrown heroes Dipha Barus and Whisnu Santika will represent Indonesia, continuing to showcase the country’s rising influence on the global dance scene. Organizers have promised more names in upcoming announcements, ensuring the full lineup will be stacked from start to finish.
DWP Bali Music Week
The celebration doesn’t stop with the main festival. DWP Bali Music Week extends the experience with a full week of activities across the island. Expect beachside pre-parties, cultural excursions, wellness sessions, and curated label takeovers designed to balance high-energy nights with restorative daytime programming. The concept merges Bali’s spiritual traditions with its reputation as a creative hub, offering fans more than just a festival – but a week-long journey of music and culture.
Production and experience
DWP has established its international reputation on the back of taking creative risks, and 2025 will be no different. Supporters can look forward to epic stage designs inspired by Balinese craftsmanship, coupled with level-up visuals, pyrotechnics, and audio experiences. Every stage is designed to provide a different experience so that no two sets are ever the same.
