The Central Crime Station (CCS) of NTR Police Commissionerate led by CCS inspector Ram Kumar, arrested four notorious chain snatchers, including two women, and recovered jewellery valued at about ₹30 lakh from them on Wednesday.

The accused have been identified as A. Giri Babu and A. Mahesh, natives of Nellore district, G. Venkata Ramanamma and M. Sandhya, of NTR District and had committed about 25 offences in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana said Police Commissioner S.V. Rajashekar Babu at a press conference.

The team led by CCS inspector Ram Kumar arrested the accused, A. Giri Babu and A. Mahesh, natives of Nellore district, G. Venkata Ramanamma and M. Sandhya, of NTR District, said Police Commissioner S.V. Rajashekar Babu at a press conference on Wednesday.

“Giri Babu was arrested earlier and had served time in prison for chain snatching cases in Nellore district,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Tirumaleswar Reddy.
