Australian electronic powerhouse Restricted has teamed up with Mexican producer Junkie Kid for their explosive new collaboration, “Pump This Party,” released September 12 on REVIVE RECORDS.
The track, which premiered during Restricted’s sold-out headline show at Wasteland Los Angeles, is already making waves across the global dance scene.
“Pump This Party” pulses with hammering percussion, distorted synths, and commanding vocal drops that demand movement: “Oh yeah, you want to rock now… Pump this Groove, Pump this Party.” With its relentless pace and raw intensity, the single strikes the sweet spot between underground warehouse energy and mainstage festival chaos.
Restricted himself described the track as the sonic embodiment of pure hyperactivity: “If ADHD was a track, it would be this. With all 3 drops, we wanted them to be completely different but still fit together, keeping it exciting and energetic. We drew influence from early hardstyle acts like Showtek and TNT, merging industrial/rawstyle elements, old-school vocals, and too many fake drops. It’s been a highlight in every set this summer.”
The release follows a string of massive appearances for Restricted, who has quickly become one of the most in-demand names in electronic music. His EDC Vegas 2025 debut turned legendary when his Saturday night closing set drew such a massive crowd that fire marshals had to step in after the stage reached capacity within minutes.
