Hayley Williams has officially released the fully sequenced version of her new album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, following its unconventional rollout earlier this summer.
The 18-track set includes the original 17 songs fans first heard in July, along with a brand-new addition titled Parachute.
Produced entirely by Daniel James, the album showcases Williams not only as a vocalist but also as a multi-instrumentalist, with her fingerprints all over the record. Additional contributions come from Brian Robert Jones, Joey Howard, and Jim-E Stack, who features on True Believer. The result is a deeply personal and experimental body of work that blends Williams’ punk roots with her introspective solo style.
The official release follows a unique build-up. Back in July, Williams surprised fans with a password-protected drop through her Good Dye Young hair dye brand. That page revealed 17 tracks, music clips, lyric book photos, and even merchandise. While the songs disappeared after 24 hours, Williams quickly uploaded them to streaming platforms — each as standalone singles with individual artwork. This prompted fans to create their own custom playlists, with some even launching hayleysingles.com to share tracklist versions. Williams has said she drew inspiration from these fan-made sequences while finalizing the album order for the official release.
In the weeks leading up to this announcement, Williams has kept fans engaged with music videos for Ego Death, Glum, and Kill Me. The latter, filmed in a lush garden setting, adds a surreal, intimate layer to the project’s dark yet playful themes.
Fans can now pre-order physical copies of Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, set for release on November 7. The album will be available in black and “Zissou Clear-Wave” vinyl, along with six other variants: Highlighter Yellow, Marble Yellow, Orange Juice Splash, Crystal Clear, Grayscale Metallic Silver, and Poolwater Wave. A special “Ego Gold Marble” vinyl will be sold exclusively at retailers in Tennessee, Williams’ home state. For collectors, 1,500 limited CD-Rs are also available for immediate shipping via her website.
With this official sequencing and expanded physical release, Williams delivers a definitive version of Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, solidifying it as one of her most daring and creatively ambitious projects to date.
