’12 Gauge’ has a record of two victories and one draw since stepping in the new sport, and has been enjoying her new career.
Many new fans of the sport will not know exactly how fighters prepare for the contests, given it is not the tactical battle that comes in boxing and MMA.
And VanZant has now given fans a look into exactly how she prepares.
She first set up a mannequin in the shape of a Power Slap opponent and drilled repetitive shots into the head of it.
The former UFC star then flexed her physique clearly paying attention to her physical conditioning.
Husband Austin Vanderford was then present and used a swimming pool noodle to test her reflexes and chin.
VanZant flinched as if she was taking a full power blow from the noodle, which fighters are encouraged to train to avoid being knocked out.
And she took them well before laughing to the camera and clearly enjoying herself, all while stood by a swimming pool.
Fans couldn’t believe this was how they trained, with one writing: “A hilarious routine. Well done Paige.”
Another commented: “Never knew this was how you guys did it. Fascinating.”

VanZant is set to return on June 27 in a huge Power Slap rematch with Mikael-Michelle Brown.
The prize on offer is huge for the 31-year-old, with the winner set to be crowned the first ever women’s Power Slap champion.
And the belt was made by White on the back of her own request.
After her last victory, VanZant demanded that the title was created in a fiery post-fight interview.
She shouted: “Hey Dana, where’s that [125-pound] belt, baby? Put me on the next card.
“Let’s get some women’s belts. We’re here to stay. We’re here to knock bitches out and slap people all day.”

And her wish is granted as she pursues another extended period of glory again.
VanZant had huge success in her nine-fight career with the UFC, before she parted ways with the promotion following defeat to Amanda Ribas in 2020.
She has also fought in the boxing ranks, under both bare-knuckle rules and traditional.
VanZant famously fought and drew with Elle Brooke last year in a Misfits Boxing clash.
It continues to be a busy stint for the American who is seeking fighting opportunities wherever available.
