The 18-year-old beat world number one Luke Humphries 11-7 a year ago to win the competition during his debut season.
England’s two representatives for the 2025 World Cup could first face off again in the Premier League play-off night.
Littler and Humphries will meet in the final for a second successive year, providing they each overcome their respective last-four clash.
Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price – the two players who completed the top four of the Premier League table – are also vying for glory.
How does the Premier League darts final work?
Finals Night comprises of two semi-finals and a final – all of which will take place this Thursday at The 02 Arena in London.
There are no points up for grabs, and it is just a straight knockout, with the longer format also varying from the 16 evenings before.
Instead of the usual best of 11 legs, the two semi-finals are best of 19, meaning the first to 10 wins will be victorious.
In the final, it’s best of 21 instead, so the first to 11 claims the trophy.
Humphries and Littler will throw first in their respective semi-finals because they finished first and second in the table.
In the final, there will be a bull-off in the practice room to determine the order of throw.

Premier League Darts Finals Night: How to follow
Finals Night of the 2025 tournament takes place on Thursday, May 29.
It is being held at The 02 Arena in London from 7pm – with the first throw set to be at 7:15pm.
