L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) announced a 10% discount on the newly revised fares, across all fare zones in all the three metro corridors. It will come into effect from Saturday (May 24, 2025).
The hike in fares was announced on May 15, 2025, which came into effect from May 17. According to it, the charges were increased by two rupees for the minimum fare of ₹10, to ₹15 for the maximum fare of ₹60.
Mr. Reddy said L&TMRH has decided to provide the 10% discount based on passenger’s feedback on the newly revised fares.
“We remain committed to providing efficient and affordable mobility solutions to the people of Hyderabad. While the fare revision was essential for maintaining the sustainability of metro operations, we understand the importance of minimizing the financial impact on our valued passengers. We truly appreciate the continued support of our passengers,” he added, in a press release
