Kim Kardashian just hit a massive milestone after six years of hard work-she finally graduated from her Law Office Study Program.

The 44-year-old reality star shared the exciting news on May 21, giving fans a peek at what looked like a cozy backyard graduation party with her closest friends and family. It was a day full of pride, celebration, and a lot of emotion.

This program usually takes four years to complete, but thanks to the craziness of COVID and Kim’s busy schedule, raising four kids, running multiple businesses, filming, and working in court, it stretched to six years. Still, Kim stuck with it and now has the certificate to prove it.

At the ceremony, attorney Jessica Jackson, who has been mentoring Kim through the process, gave a heartfelt speech. She praised Kim’s fierce dedication and shared how Kim has spent a whopping 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year, for six years hitting the books and case logs. That adds up to over 5,000 hours of legal study, all while juggling a crazy lifestyle that would exhaust most people.

Kim Kardashian Graduates

Kim’s journey to becoming a lawyer is far from traditional. Instead of going to law school, she took an apprenticeship route offered only in California and a few other states. She started this apprenticeship in 2018 with a San Francisco law firm and has been working hard ever since. One of the biggest hurdles came in 2021 when she took the “baby bar” exam, which she failed three times before passing on her fourth try. She even had to take the test while sick with COVID but never gave up. She openly shared the tough road, letting fans know that this path was way harder than a typical law school experience.

Her family was all in to celebrate this huge accomplishment. Her kids were there cheering, and sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian were also present, showing plenty of love. Khloé posted on Instagram how proud she was, calling it “such a cool accomplishment,” while Kourtney jokingly wore Kim’s graduation cap in a selfie.

Political commentator and Kim’s friend Van Jones also gave a speech, applauding her legal journey and her efforts in criminal justice reform. Kim’s dedication to the cause has been clear, as she has spent recent years advocating for others and helping commute prison sentences.

Even though Kim passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) in March-an important step before taking the full California bar exam-she has yet to take the final test to become a licensed attorney. But her graduation marks a huge step forward.

Kim’s motivation behind this journey has always been personal as well as professional. She’s following in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., and has been committed to criminal justice reform for years.

From all the challenges to all the victories, Kim’s law journey shows just how much grit it takes to change your life. What started as a tough road with many doubters has now turned into a huge moment of triumph.
