Lamine Yamal has confirmed his romance with Nicki Nicole.
The FC Barcelona superstar confirmed his relationship with the Argentine singer on Instagram in August 2025, ending months of rumors about their new romance.
Nicole, born Nicole Denise Cucco in Rosario, Argentina, is a Grammy-nominated artist with a growing international presence. Known for songs like Wapo Traketero, Colocao and Mamichula, she has earned eight Latin Grammy nominations and collaborated with stars including Christina Aguilera, Becky G, Bizarrap, and Rauw Alejandro. Nicole has also performed worldwide, making her U.S. debut at Coachella in 2022.
The 25-year-old singer has previously talked extensively about her strong connection to her Argentine heritage. She frequently attributes her childhood in Rosario as a great inspiration for her music. “Yo cantaba en casa con mi familia, en la cocina o donde pudiera,” she said in a previous interview, remembering how music took center stage in her life as a child.

Nicole was also seen cheering for Yamal during the Joan Gamper Trophy game in Barcelona, where he scored twice.
The rumor mill ceased when Yamal shared a picture of them together to celebrate Nicole’s 25th birthday on Aug. 25. The adorable Instagram update, captioned with cake and heart emojis, featured the young football player with his arm around the singer. Nicole reposted the picture with heart emojis, confirming their relationship to fans.
As Yamal solidifies his status as football’s brightest young star and Nicole establishes herself as a rising star in Latin music, the relationship of the pair has become one of the most highly publicized celebrity couples of 2025 in short order.
