League Two Play-off Final: What has been said?
Dons defender Joe Lewis told Sky Sports: “It’s a huge moment for the whole club. You can feel the atmosphere, but we’re not there yet, it’s not job done but it’s a good feeling.
“We’ve really prided ourselves on the defensive record all season. It’s been a massive team effort and that performance was the epitome of it.
“It’s felt like an upward trajectory since I arrived – we finished 10th last season and were disappointed. The whole club feels like it’s got momentum – hopefully we can continue that.”
He added: “Personally I’ve had two cracks and not succeeded at Wembley, I’m hoping it’s third time lucky. The club deserves it.”
Lewis has also become notorious for wearing short shorts, in an 80s throwback, and added: “A lot of people will be disappointed if I change it now. They’ll definitely be on at Wembley.”
