Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised Pune’s apple traders yesterday for boycotting imports of Turkiye apples and dry fruits. The trade is worth at least ₹1000- 1200 crores.

During Operation Sindoor, Turkiye backed Pakistan, which disappointed Indian citizens. Many cancelled trips to Turkiye, while traders at the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) in Pune decided to stop imports.
Mr. Fadnavis also congratulated traders and applauded their “Nation First” stance. “First of all, I sincerely congratulate the businesses that adopted a ‘Nation First’ stance, because this was not just an attack on Indians — the attack in Pulwama was an attack on humanity itself. And traders who refused to support those aiding the enemies of humanity are worthy of praise.”

Mr. Fadnavis also assured them that India had the ability to infiltrate Pakistan and destroy it. “Now even the New York Times has exposed the truth about Pakistan with satellite images — they couldn’t even touch a nail on our side, but we destroyed the targets on their side completely,” said Mr. Fadnavis, urging people to ignore empty threats. He said it was also important to teach a lesson to countries supporting Pakistan.
