The Kadavanthra police arrested an alleged history-sheeter on Sunday on charge of brandishing a sword and threatening the workers of an eatery at Kadavanthra.
The incident is said to have occurred over the payment for the food that Sanal, 28, of Kadavanthra, who is said to have over a dozen criminal cases against him, ate from the eatery. His brother, Devan, was arrested earlier in connection with the eatery incident.
Skirmish at function
In yet another incident, the Maradu police registered a case against 10 identifiable members of two gangs after they were reportedly involved in a skirmish at a religious function.
