New Delhi: Healthcare provider Max Healthcare and medical technology company Medtronic have inaugurated the Max-Medtronic Skill Lab at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, New Delhi.
The facility is designed to strengthen training in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, supporting both clinical excellence and patient education.
The Skill Lab will offer structured training modules for surgeons, nurses, OT technicians, and paramedics, ranging from hands-on workshops to advanced upskilling sessions. Programs will be led by Max Healthcare’s in-house faculty and facilitated by Medtronic, with a focus on practical, impact-driven learning.
In addition to professional training, the Lab will also raise awareness among patients and caregivers about the benefits of minimally invasive procedures, such as faster recovery, smaller incisions, reduced risk of infection, and lower tissue trauma compared to conventional surgeries.
The initiative emphasises regular upskilling of paramedical staff, recognised as a critical component of surgical teams. The Skill Lab is expected to emerge as a benchmark in clinical education and innovation, aligning with the government’s vision of building a skilled healthcare workforce.
