Lisbon-based electronic duo MXGPU, made up of veteran producer Moullinex and singer/producer GPU Panic, have released their latest single “find u” via Discotexas.
The track sets the stage for their debut album Sudden Light, arriving September 26.
“find u” blends liquid drum & bass grooves with sharp synth stabs, pairing them with lyrics about presence and emotional openness. The refrain – “I’m saving time for me and you / I’m there to guide you through it all” – captures the duo’s vision of clarity and human connection.
MXGPU, which grew from Moullinex inviting GPU Panic into his live band, found instant chemistry that broke creative barriers. Their songwriting became more spontaneous and emotionally raw, pushing each artist out of their comfort zone.
Their live shows mirror that intimacy, often performed in the round, with GPU Panic’s vocals front and center against a layered instrumental backdrop. The custom stage setup blends sci-fi visuals, James Turrell–inspired lighting, and analog gear from Moog, Arturia, Teenage Engineering, and Dreadbox to create an immersive sensory experience.
The 2025 tour continues through Portugal with festival and club dates in Lisbon, Porto, and Guimarães, before marking a milestone with MXGPU’s first-ever U.S. shows this October in Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
