Bhopal: In a diplomatic effort to enhance academic and medical collaboration between India and Nepal, a high-ranking delegation from the Embassy of Nepal visited AIIMS- Bhopal.

The delegation discussed potential long-term partnerships in medical education and research, as per a press release here on Saturday. The visiting team included Ambika Joshi, minister counsellor; Rabindra Jung Thapa, economic counsellor; and Anirudh Dubey, resident Manager of the PHD chamber of commerce & industry.

Their discussions focused on improving bilateral academic exchanges and enhancing support systems for students. During the visit, the delegation interacted directly with Nepalese and other international students enrolled at AIIMS-Bhopal.

Later, AIIMS Bhopal director, Dr Ajai Singh said, “We take pride in hosting talented individuals from Nepal and are keen to strengthen our connections with prominent medical institutions there. These interactions honour our shared heritage and contribute to regional medical excellence.”
