Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday (May 23, 2025) inaugurated Shri Hanuman Katha Mandapam in Ayodhya saying every Sanatan Dharma follower in the world wants to come to Ayodhya.
Targeting Pakistan, the U.P. CM said the country is on the verge of ending and terrorism will be the reason for its end.
“Hanumangarhi is a confluence of devotion, power, intelligence, and strategy, and is considered an unwavering stronghold of Sanatan Dharma. The Mandapam is a future spiritual hub that will propagate Sanatan values through discourses and storytelling,” said Mr. Adityanath, addressing the public gathering.
Cautioning against Pakistan, he added, “We should recognise true allies and adversaries. Pakistan is nearing its end. Terrorism will be its downfall.”
Mr. Adityanath touched upon the transformation of Ayodhya as a leading spiritual centre and targeted previous U.P. governments for neglecting the city into disrepair and chaos.

“Before 2014 and 2017, Ayodhya suffered from broken roads, power shortages, but with the double engine government after 2017, a new chapter of development started in Ayodhya with four-lane highways, an extensive railway network, and the newly built Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, putting the city on the global map,” said the U.P. Chief Minister.
He dubbed the construction of the Ram Temple a landmark moment in the history of Sanatan Dharma. “Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, the 500-year-long darkness surrounding the Ram Janmabhoomi issue was finally dispelled. The double-engine government accomplished what was once impossible under previous regimes swiftly and decisively,” he added.
