The AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Wednesday wanted to know the fate of petitions received by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, while in the Opposition.
“So far, those who are in power now have not furnished proper data in response to my questions whether big boxes, taken around with him on his State-wide tour for receiving the petitions, were opened; how many lakh petitions were received and whether grievances in the petitions were resolved. People are wondering whether Mr Stalin has misplaced the keys of the boxes,” Mr Palaniswami said in a statement.
He was responding to the reported move of the DMK regime to roll out a new initiative for quick disposal of petitions. Mr Palaniswami criticised the DMK regime for trying to “mislead” people through advertisements and photo shoots.
