Peppermint Heaven return with a vengeance, and this time they’ve gone bigger, braver, and bolder. L.A.-based producer-songwriter team Juno and Spark just dropped their brand-new album ‘Revolutions’, and it’s hands-down their most innovative work yet.

With a reputation for mixing synthpop, indie, and new wave into a sleek and nostalgic sound, Peppermint Heaven venture into new territory with this album – one that’s half retro bliss and half experimental soundscapes.

This isn’t the same old retread of what they’ve done in the past. ‘Revolutions’ is an out-and-out evolution. With songs like Stay in the Season introducing fresh instrumental textures and arrangements, and Give Me a Reason setting down stacked harmonies and rhythm-driven sections, the entire affair has a new pulse that exhibits a bolder side of their sound. And then there’s Never Gonna Let You Go, which reduces things to a 4×4 rhythm and slick, minimalist melodies – cool personified start to finish.

The whole album sounds live, gritty, and nearly improvised at times, which lends it an authenticity that’s elusive in the synth-based universe they’ve always operated in. But for old-timers, there’s still much to adore. They haven’t lost their roots – they’ve just extended them. Summer Revolution, Superman, and Fall in Love Again, all early singles released by the project, already totaled more than 500,000 Spotify streams, and their presence on TikTok keeps drawing new ears every day.

Juno and Spark have spent the past few years refining their distinctive sound – one rooted in 80s pop retro but always infused with a hint of futurism. ‘Revolutions’ isn’t just a return to their formula though – they’re shattering it. All in a Dream and Nothing More Than Love are tracks that delve into themes and structures that stray from their norm, and they do so with quite evident musical and lyrical improvement.

As the duo explains it, “We’re working in new styles – exploring new arrangements different from what you’d expect from Peppermint Heaven. It’s important for us to keep growing musically. ‘Revolutions’ gives our fans the best of our hit-style songs along with some cutting-edge, more adventurous songs. Give it a spin!”

And to be honest, it’s not surprising that big players such as CLASH, Magnetic Magazine, Earmilk, Fault Magazine, and Data Transmission have given them the love. With a combined listenership of more than 22 million on both Spotify and TikTok, Peppermint Heaven have established a fanbase of more than just a fanbase – more like a universe.

‘Revolutions’ feels like the moment where that universe cracks open just a little wider. The production is tight, the vocals are emotionally rich, and the melodies move between dreamy synthscapes and punchy pop anthems. Whether you’ve been riding with them since the early days or you’re just tuning in, this is the album that solidifies their place in the modern indie-synthpop scene.

If you’re searching for something nostalgic but progressive, cozy but new, ‘Revolutions‘ doesn’t disappoint. It’s got the hooks, it’s got the heart, and most of all, it’s got the sonic innovation that keeps Peppermint Heaven ahead of the pack.
