Plea of Beyline Das to relax bail conditions dismissed

The Thiruvananthapuram Principal District and Sessions Court on Monday dismissed a plea filed by senior advocate Beyline Das seeking relaxation in the bail conditions imposed on him in connection with the assault on a woman lawyer.

The restriction imposed on entering the Vanchiyoor police station limits for two months or until the filing of the chargesheet, whichever is earlier, will continue.

Mr. Das had been charged of wrongful restraint, assault to a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty, and voluntarily causing grievous hurt in connection with the alleged attack that took place on May 13.
