The final game of any season in any league is unpredictable.
However, this season’s Premier League finale on Sunday afternoon is a little different.
All relegation places have long been confirmed so there aren’t any sides at the bottom looking to go ultra defensive to avoid the drop.
Liverpool have also confirmed their Premier League champion status just a couple of weeks ago, but will look to cap off their title victory with a win.
There could be more goals coming from the top six chase as teams look to make the cut for European football next season.
Man City sit in third with 68 points, Newcastle are in fourth on goal difference with 66 points, Chelsea sit in fifth also at 66 points, while Villa are sixth on goal difference too also with 66, as Nottingham Forest have 65 points in seventh place.
They’ve been pushing for a European spot for so long and three winless games in a row followed by a win last time out has seen them just pushed out of the top six.
There’s been few and far between draws between these sides and now they will be out for goals to seal the win early on, presenting a strong chance of a goal fest throughout the Premier League.
Premier League finale betting tips
The already relegated sides face some tough challenges in their final games which could see more goals.
Southampton have conceded as many as 84, Ipswich 79 and Leicester 78, and don’t necessarily look like being able to keep a clean sheet in their final game of a relegation season.
They could of course get a rare goal back which only helps the chance of the over 2.5 goals in each ten Premier League games from coming in from these games:

- Fulham vs Man City
- Wolves vs Brentford
- Nottm Forest vs Chelsea
- Man United vs Aston Villa
- Southampton vs Arsenal
- Newcastle vs Everton
- Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
- Ipswich Town vs West Ham
- Tottenham vs Brighton
Teams like Wolves face Brentford who played out an eight-goal thriller in the reverse fixture.
Fulham have seen plenty of goals over the season in certain games and take on Man City who could go out with a bang to secure their top three finish.
