
Hyderabad: Continuing its expansion push in the ongoing fiscal, Pediatric care hospital chain, Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML), has opened a new greenfield 100-bed multi-specialty hospital in Rajahmundry Andhra Pradesh.
The new facility will be the pediatric chain’s third hospital in the state alongside Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam and will expand the multi-specialty hospital chain network to nearly 2,300 beds spread across 22 hospitals in 9 cities.
“This 100-bed facility is designed to serve the Godavari belt, one of the most prominent growth corridors in the state and we will continue to build and invest with the same focus, for creating a healthcare ecosystem across India” said, Dr Ramesh Kancharla, Chairman and MD, RCML.
Notably, the greenfield hospital is the company’s third announcement for FY2025-26, following the acquisition of Pratiksha Hospital, two hospitals based in Warangal and Guwahati.
In June this year the multi-specialty hospitals chain had inked a definitive agreement with Prashanthi Hospital to acquire a majority stake of its 100-bed Warangal, Telangana facility.
More recently, in August RCML acquired 76 per cent stakes of Pratiksha Hospital, 150-bed Guwahati Hospital for Rs 171 crore.
