Mumbai: Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre has partnered with AnginaX AI to launch an operational AI-based heart disease prevention model. AnginaX is described as India’s first licensed AI Doctor Assistant in cardiology.

According to the hospital, this collaboration aims to shift cardiac care from late-stage intervention to early, technology-enabled prevention.

It is stated that the AnginaX AI system deployed in Jaslok’s outpatient department, provides structured, evidence-based cardiovascular risk assessments within seconds.

According to the hospital, these reports are designed to detect risk even before symptoms emerge and recommend personalized lifestyle and treatment plans.

The system analyzes clinical and lifestyle indicators, including lipid profiles, blood sugar, inflammatory markers, metabolic conditions, family history, and habits. It generates a clinical summary with individualized risk categorization, suggested investigations, and guidance on treatment and follow-up.

The initiative is intended to address challenges in early cardiac diagnosis, such as cost and patient hesitancy, by offering an accessible and time-efficient assessment at the OPD level.

Jaslok Hospital has also introduced the “Dil Fit, Life Hit” initiative under the leadership of Dr. Ashwin B. Mehta, aiming to integrate structured heart disease prevention into routine outpatient care.
