Rolling Ray, the reality television personality and social media celebrity known for his large personality and big smile, has died at 28.

Zeus Network, the streaming platform where Ray, whose real name was Raymond Harper, appeared on several reality shows, confirmed his death. In an Instagram post, the network paid tribute, calling it a devastating loss.

As stated by officials, Harper’s death was Wednesday reported to the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The body, however, was not taken in for an autopsy, and no further information about the cause of death has been made public.

Rolling Ray was on every map for his TV show appearances on Zeus Network productions, including the dating show Bobby I Love You, Purrr. Beyond TV, he went viral as a social media star, whose raw appeal, humor, and ability to make viewers connect with him earned him universal fans. Viewers tended to compliment his ability to remain real and authentic to himself even when under the spotlight.

Since then, tributes have been flooding across social media platforms, with other influencers, reality stars, and fans mourning the passing of someone many had billed as fearless and inspiring. Many recalled his popular one-liners, bubbly personality, and how he shed light on sensitive issues.
