Superintendent of Police V. Ratna on Monday conducted grievances redressal programme at the district police headquarters and directed the officers to respond effectively to the petitions. A total of 70 complaints were registered from all over the district.

The SP interacted with the complainants and assured them swift resolution to their issues as per the law. The complaints at the grievance cell were more about domestic disputes, land issues, harassment by in-laws, online fraud, and other civil and criminal matters. The SP underlined the importance of addressing public grievances with sensitivity and fairness.

Ms. Ratna reiterated that the police was committed to maintaining public trust. She said that every complaint registered at the grievance cell would be investigated by the police and that necessary action would be taken to provide justice. Puttaparthi DSP Vijay Kumar, legal advisor Sainath Reddy, and senior police officers from all the circles of the district were present.
