Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Tuesday virtually inaugurated 4,978 housing units constructed by Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board in various locations across the State at a total cost of ₹527 crore.
These housing units have been constructed in Chennai, Cuddalore, Erode, Kallakurichi, Kancheepuram, Karur, Madurai, Pudukkottai, Virudhunagar, Tiruppur and Tiruvarur districts. The CM also virtually inaugurated four commercial complexes constructed by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board in Chennai and Madurai districts at a total cost of ₹207 crore.
The four commercial complexes have been constructed at Nerkundram, two locations in C.I.T. Nagar and Thoppur in Madurai district. Ministers S. Muthusamy and T.M. Anbarasan; Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam and senior officials were also present.
