The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning for six districts in Telangana for Friday (June 13, 2025).
According to the latest bulletin, heavy rains are expected at isolated locations in Jayashankar Bhupalpally; Mulugu; Bhadradri Kothagudem; Mahabubabad; Warangal and Hanumakonda districts. In addition to the rain alert, the IMD has also warned of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at isolated places across all parts of the State.
For Hyderabad and surrounding areas, the forecast indicates a generally cloudy sky over the next 24 hours. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds, are likely to occur in the city. Morning hours may see hazy conditions. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 32°C and 23°C, respectively,” as per the forecast.
